چکیده
Pediatric patients are at risk for adverse drug reactions, and oncologic an even higher risk. (1) This study aims to describe quantify the long-term dermatologic sequelae reactions in who received allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) as children. 273 allo-HSCT children from period 01/27/2002- 01/27/2022 Duke University Hospital were identified. All patient visits of 01/1996-01/2020 obtained via Enterprise Data Unified Content Explorer (DEDUCE). From patients, 532 total allergens identified 191 unique patients. 149 had medications, blood product infusions, or vaccines. 80/273 (29.3%) a reaction vancomycin. 46/80 (57.5%) developed Red Man’s Syndrome, 8/80 (10%) rash, 15/80 (18.8%) itching reaction. conditions diagnosed after their allo-HSCT. None 8 rash referred Dermatology service cutaneous Including outpatient over 17 years, 15 seen by 72 diagnoses. Man Syndrome has previously been documented vancomycin, with rates ranging 5-50% hospitalized subjects up 90% controls. (2,3) RMS development reported 14% pediatric receiving (4) Our data is line studies that vancomycin frequent. There no regarding implications These results highlight importance further research transplantation, especially field dermatology this topic merits research. Dermatologic may be underreported given low rate referrals.

Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is a curative option for a variety of malignant and non-malignant hematological and congenital diseases. Due to the fact that the human leukocyte antigen system is inherited independently of the blood group system, approximately 40-50% of all HSCTs are performed across the ABO blood group barrier. The expected immune-hematological conseq...

A.C. was treated with a short course of salvage chemotherapy, stem cell collection, and autologous HSCT about 11 months after initial di...
